If you wonder what is the quantity of oil/herbs you should use, it depends on the quantity of tomatoes. A small amount of herbs is usually good enough (around 1 teaspoon of each) and around 20 ml of olive oil for 4 well-sized tomatoes.

After 4 hours, check if the tomatoes have dried enough. If they look like the picture below it's quite ok. Let them cool down and store them in in glass jar with olive oil in the fridge, or if you have prepared a lot, freeze them in zip bags.
